The aim of the project running between January 1 and December 31 2020 was to provide teaching materials in the field of Hungarian language optional teaching, to provide teachers with concrete/practical solutions, and to disperse their insecurities in the face of problems. Also, the main objective of this project is to create a collective of high performing teachers.
The idea of the project was born as a result of a survey carried out in February-December 2018.
As a result of the survey, a number of locations were found, where Hungarian language is taught on an optional basis. Based on the collected information about teaching methodology, where the children come from, why parents opt for optional lessons over a Hungarian-language institution the most important obstacles and problems were localized. The project aimed to tackle these problems, and to raise effectiveness of these optional classes.
The program was aimed at teachers who want to make their teaching more effective and share their experience with others.
